FAQ

What makes your olive oils different from supermarket oils?

We focus on small-batch extra virgin olive oils with real freshness and character. Every oil is tasted and evaluated before we bring it to Sweden, and we work with producers whose harvest and handling we understand and trust. Nothing industrial, nothing anonymous.

Where do your oils come from?

Most of our oils currently come from independent producers in Andalucía, a region with a long tradition of high-quality olive oil. Over time, we may include other Mediterranean regions, but the standard stays the same: small producers, careful work, and oils we believe in.

Do you visit the producers?

We taste and assess every oil we offer and work closely with producers whose process we know well. Many of them we have visited in person; others we’ve come to know through direct collaboration and repeated tastings. In all cases, we only select oils we feel comfortable putting on our own table.

Are all your oils extra virgin?

Yes. We only select oils that meet extra virgin standards and show the freshness, aroma and balance expected from well-made, early-harvest olive oil.

Do your oils have harvest dates?

Yes. Each bottle shows the harvest season. Freshness matters, and we don’t offer oils that we consider past their best.

How should I store my olive oil?

Keep it away from light, heat, and air. A dark cupboard is ideal, and it’s better not to keep the bottle next to the stove. Try to use it within a few months after opening for the best flavor.

How do I choose the right oil for me?

It depends on what you enjoy: softer, more gentle oils, or bolder, more peppery ones. A good starting point is to learn what actually matters on the label and then taste a couple of different styles.

What are polyphenols and why do they matter?

Polyphenols are natural antioxidants found in fresh extra virgin olive oil. They give that slight bitterness and peppery kick and help keep the oil more stable over time.
We go into this in a gentle, non-technical way here:

Can I cook with extra virgin olive oil, or only drizzle it?

You can absolutely cook with it. Good extra virgin olive oil handles everyday cooking very well and adds more flavor than neutral oils. Drizzling is great, but not mandatory.

Do you accept returns?

Because olive oil is a food product, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once an order has been shipped.

If you believe there is an issue with your order, contact us and we will review it on a case-by-case basis.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders within Sweden arrive within a few business days, but delivery times depend on your location and the shipping method you choose at checkout. Any estimates shown at checkout come from the carrier.

Do you ship outside Sweden?

Not at the moment.

Do you supply restaurants, cafés or other businesses?

Yes. We’re happy to work with restaurants, cafés, specialty shops and other businesses that care about good olive oil. If you’re interested in B2B pricing or regular orders, get in touch with us and tell us a bit about your place and what you’re looking for
